Not me writing this after devouring 3 servings of fries😅😂. Potatoes don't counnttt😭😂.Being an adult means you're stacking up more calories because you're not out playing and mostly are just stuck on a chair for almost 8 hrs per day. So we have to be creative in ways to stay healthy and fit and we're going to look at simple ways for us to keep fit:
Swimming. Very low impact sport and honestly pretty affordable. If you can't swim, don't worry I got you covered. Luck for you, I am a swimming instructor and just for you I'll offer you free swimming lessons for the first two lessons😂😂. Don't worry fam, I got you😏
Cycling. OK OK, I can't lie to y'all😅, I can't cycle to save my life😂. But,😂 I heard it's a great form of exercise since it pretty much incorporates your whole body. So if you can cycle or are willing to learn you should do it during your free time for at least an hr.
Drink water. First thing in the morning people and if you are one of those people who say they do not like how water tastes😒... c'mon now.👀😂. To prepare your body for all the toxins you will feed it throughout the day😂😂.Pro tip you can add a slice of lemon or cucumber just to be fancy.😃
Walking. I saw a tiktok, yes a credible source😄(I'll post it if I find it), saying that if you walk for 30 mins after eating it will reduce your chances of gaining weight significantly, so that's what I try to do these days and it certainly helps me from being bloated that's for sure:)
Hiking. I find hiking quite enjoyable as a means to escape reality for a little bit and it's fun and a good form of exercising and staying fit. Nothing fancy, just Ng'ong forest or any hiking trail near you for the most part it is usually affordable and it can be a group thing you can do with friends if you are looking for an activity:)
Reduce the sugar. I found it easier to start by cutting your sugar from your diet by half then progress from there. Sugar makes you sluggish and hungrier anyway.
Dancing:) If you know me personally do not say anything😂😂. But the best part is you don't need an audience . Just in your bedroom listening to your best hype musician, y'know some Tinashe vibes😅 and just go with the flow. Trust me it is a whole workout.
Let me know if you're willing to try any of these in your day to day because I think they are quite doable. And remember, there is no ideal weight except the one you have set yourself, as long as you feel comfortable and healthy within your own body. That's all that matters:)
