Hair Mistakes I Made So You Don't Have To

There is so much you need to do just to maintain healthy hair. But, it is all about getting a routine, a simple one that you can be consistent with in the long run. Enough about that, today we are talking about things you should not do for healthier hair. So be prepared to be triggered a little with things I know you do๐Ÿ‘€. But don't be too hard on yourself, you didn't know better:)I am tagging myself as well. Combing my hair when its dry is an absolute no. Why? Well, dry hair equals brittle hair which makes it susceptible to easy breakage. The best way to do it is while it's damp since it has most elasticity then. Using rubber bands on hair . This is a big no no. Rubber bands tend to pull and cut hair so avoid them completely. Use proper hairbands preferably those without the little metal plate. Protective styles that are too tight . Just thinking about this gives me a headache๐Ÿ˜ญ. I mean, why do we do this, it's just unnecessary, especially around the edges. Having tho...

Taking Accountability

And with that, 2024 almost comes to a close. A time like this last year, I wrote a list๐Ÿ˜…, now now, no need to judge, we read and we don't judge๐Ÿ˜‚. My resolutions for this year, honestly, looking back at them I kind of forgot some of them were on there, and that is the first sign of what's to come๐Ÿ˜‚. You can check out my list in this blog linked here so you won't feel lost in case you hadn't read it-> https://iveartgold.blogspot.com/2023/12/my-realistic-2024-resolutions.html . So let's skim over them and see how we did shall we?๐Ÿ˜…. Daily Sudokus definitely did not happen lmao๐Ÿ˜‚. Buuut, I did do a lot more sudokus this year than previous years so hey, a win's a win๐Ÿ˜‚. Uploading weekly on this blog is something I am quite honestly disappointed in myself for not being able to do and I am carrying this to next year for sure and I will lock in this time for real! Mmmh, savings have depleted a little I would say๐Ÿ˜ญ what was this year even??๐Ÿ˜‚ Waking up earlier I hav...

True Crime Documentaries You Have To Watch

ID loversss gather here! First of if you know what that is you are definitely in the right place๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.  I would say I am an enthusiast of true crime, y'know a normal amount( if you know me personally don't comment๐Ÿ˜…) Mostly because of curiosity I would say, wanting to know why people do what they do, and so far I've come across very interesting documentaries that all my true crime counterparts should check out.  They have all the good components of a good documentary which I would list as good narration, interviews with family or people who knew the victims and if we are lucky, people who knew the perpetrator which it's always interesting to hear from their point of view. OK, enough yapping, onto the list! The Staircase ( Netflix ). Starting off strong with what I would consider to be my top 5 documentaries of all time. Murder or a tragic accident? I was quite surprised there was a discussion between the two after watching it. But I'll let you be the judge of that. ...

Tricks I Do That Help With Weightloss.

Hey, no one is telling you to lay off anything  ok๐Ÿ˜‚. Relaaaaxx๐Ÿ˜‚.I always say, the key to maintaining a healthy body weight is mostly internal. So let us look at some not so hard tricks I use that are applicable for your day to day that help at least maintain a healthy body weight.  ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฟ Maintaining at least a 7,000 steps a day and this is very easy to achieve actually, that's approximately 30 minutes of walking, which can either be broken down to 2-15 minute walks or 3-10 minutes walks. Which is quite doable a day I would say. And good thing our phones can keep track of how many steps we've taken everyday so you don't have to worry about that, just the walking is your part. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฟ Walking After Eating . I've found this quite effective because the body uses that food as fuel for your walk. Put on some music, a good playlist and walk for at least fifteen minutes. Plus it reduces any bloating risks significantly.  ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฟ Drinking a Litre A Day.  Of water of course๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚.Ge...
